Another good parking lot writing session this morning. I need to try and get out there earlier though. At this rate I'm only writing two pages a morning. Really enjoying writing this book. It's the first Young Adult book I've written, and it's going really well. *Knock on wood*. I don't actually have any real wood around me at the moment so a generic counter desk top will have to do. Writing this blog post from work in a hurry.
The book is also a paranormal. I haven't written a lot of the supernatural stuff, but really getting into it lately. It's nice for a change. I love writing the Leah Ryan books, but I need to do something different so that I don't get bored and stagnant with the writing. Challanges are good.
P90X is only 2 to 3 times a week lately. It's hard trying to squeeze in every night with the full-time job and the little guy. But it's better to be too busy than to be bored, for me, anyway. I tend to get depressed when I'm not busy. I'm one of those people that needs to be working away at something all the time.
Summer is half over! I love the fall but not looking forward to winter. Winter was a bitch to us last year here in NY. So. Much. SNOW!
Been reading Joe Konrath's blog quite a bit lately. The man is a genius. Definitely worth reading if you haven't been.
Off to do some writing on my lunch half hour. What are you all reading?

Tuesday Blithers.
Finding time to sneak away on my half hour lunch to write a page or two each day on a new work in progress. I don't want to say much about it because I don't want to jinx myself, but so far so good. Writing for a bit sitting in parking lots before work.
Yesterday I forgot that I go into work a half hour earlier while I was tapping away on my netbook. Came back to reality, alarmed. I was 15 minutes late. I'm a person who is never late. So I'll have to get a watch with an alarm on it or something.
Juggling this book with Dead for Good. Keeps me from getting bored.
Finishing T. Jefferson Parker's Red Light. Excellent book. Really good mystery and I love his characters.
It's hotter than hell out there, and wicked humid. YUCK!

Finding Chloe to be Released Aug 5th

An exotic dancer vanishes from the underbelly of the city. Repo agent and reformed car thief Leah Ryan has a knack for rescue, and she's a sucker for a lost cause. Unable to turn away from helping find a stripper whose disappearance many are indifferent to, Leah soon discovers that there are those who would keep Chloe Nolan from being found, and that there is far more to her disappearance than meets the eye.
Leah and her friend Jackson Quick soon find themselves in a deadly game of obsession and corruption, where the line between innocence and guilt is blurred, and where nothing is as it seems. Added to the chaos is a hot ex-boyfriend and a steamy reporter, neither of whom Leah can seem to get enough of.
