I've been getting up at 5:00 a.m in order to get some writing done. This is to enable me to use the elliptical machine when Ben goes to sleep. Using the elliptical gives me a lot more energy during the day, that's for sure, but waking up that early is tough! Gives me an hour of perfectly quiet time, though.
Working on two writing projects right now. One is a horror/urban fantasy. The other is a paranormal thriller. Although I hate to call favorites, so far I'm really diggin' the paranormal thriller. I don't know if it's because of the euphoria and excitement of beginning a new story, or if I'm just connecting better with this story and the characters more right now for some reason.
There's a right moment for every story and for me, this is the right time for this one. I'll keep working on the horror/urban fantasy, though. Go back and forth between them.
Spring is on the horizon! Yeah!
We watched the old 80's classic Near Dark last night. I love that movie. Bill Paxton is fantastic. Even the scariest scenes had me giggling because of his one-liners and the way he delivered them. Versatile actor.
Okay, blithering again. Goin' to get some coffee and do more plotting.
