Yikes

It's Sept 14th. Sheesh. Time is going by so fast. Well, finished the edits on the short story, all 15,000 words of it, and submitted it to one place so far. The worst part for me is the friggin' cover and/or query letter. Always gives me fits. But I did it! I'm going to try and forget about it for the time being and start something else.

Haven't been keeping up with the blog much because I've discovered that when I have a bit of time, when Ben is napping, I can either blog or write. So I usually choose writing. But it's really made me much more disciplined that I used to be, because I know that if I don't jump on the writing the minute he falls alseep, I'm pretty much screwed until the next nap, and sometimes the next nap doesn't work out for whatever reason.

It's a dark, rainy day. Perfect for writing. I just put Ben to bed, so I'm jumping on the new work right now! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, all!
